Hi! We are Bart, Kris, Lore, and Ruben. We’re a family of five, including our dog, Spike. We lead active lives with full-time jobs, kids’ hobbies, and our love for sports. But most importantly, I (Kris) am passionate about traveling. It’s not just having a few weeks off; I love being surprised by different cultures and beautiful nature.
I’ve been traveling for as long as I can remember. Sure, we sometimes did the classic family trip to the south of France, the ārealā vacation. But my parents also thought places like Northern Ireland in the 1980s were perfectly normal holiday destinations. For me, vacation quickly became synonymous with adventure and exploring the world.
When I was old enough to travel on my own, I realized it wasnāt always easy to find people who shared the same appetite for adventure. Not long after, I became a mother ā and my little family soon became my favorite travel tribe. My kids loved traveling just as much as I always had. They were curious, quick to chat with strangers, and always ready to try something new.
As the years passed, traveling grew from a passion into something much bigger. I started writing down my stories. First for myself, then for friends, and eventually for a wider audience. What began as a simple way to capture memories evolved into a place where I share practical tips, honest experiences, and inspiration for families who want to explore the world. Today, Iām committed to helping others travel with confidence, curiosity, and a sense of wonder, whether they’re planning their first big adventure or their fiftieth.
